Why would we need one?
If a thief robs us when we don't have any gold, we drop down to the negatives. So why would we need one? |

| hmmm...what if the bank will generate interest? some games i play this is what a bank offers. every deposit doesnt have any effect, but a withdrawal will be charged a % of the total in the bank. that way, rich players will not be able to generate large amounts of interest. the mechanism does sound realistic =D after all, what are lords of war and money without some accountancy? |

3.21. Any banking and bookmaker activities are prohibited without exception.
Banking activities - granting loans with interest, receiving money from other players on deposit accounts, pawn shop business, insurance operations or any other bank activities.
Leasing artifacts, Thief Guild Invitation and other non-monetary valuables is allowed.
Borrowing and loaning gold with no interest is allowed. Every transaction must be signed properly, indicating the terms of loan.
Bookmaker activities - taking bets on sports or other events with paying the winnings in money's worth. |
