Hello. I took a mission from the mercenary's guild and went to Blooming Glade to accomplish it. I started the combat with id:

and surprize! The Lorekeepers with initiative 10 started before my mages with initiative 10.1. HOW can this be possible?? The bigger the initiative, the faster the turn but in this case i don't think so.

In the first turn of any combat, all initiative is adjusted by a random +-10% to create a random starting initiative order.
Regular initiative takes over from there.
Thus to ensure you go before an Initiative 10 unit, you need to be at least 12.3
so that your worse case random start (12.3 - 10% is 11.1) is higher than their best case (10% increase of 10 initiative is 11) |
not very true... sry, i tried to make other hunts and i noticed that the random is always to the enemy so... it's good to know..

the random isn't always the enemy, it is just bad luck |
