Hiya all,
We all know that, for certain spells, Spell Power determines how many turn(s) the effect last. Now, what if I cast say, Bless/Chastise etc, on 1 of my stack for 3 turns. Them on my next Hero's turn, I Escort that same stack. So if I'm in an ambush with a zillion Shrews, that stack would be hit continuously and basically, 2 possible thing happens:
1) My Hero turn will never come until that stack dies. And that could be after my Hero have 'Escorted' that stack 10-20 times. So does it means my Hero have went more than the number of times of the duration of my spell? So when it's my stack's next turn, is my spell still in effect?
2) Hero's Escort don't count as a 'turn', and if Blessed/Chastised stack is very huge, my Hero's turn will not come for more than 10 turns compared with my other stacks. So does it mean the effect of my spell last until that stack dies, and my Hero's 'real' turn comes again?
Thanks in advance. | misconception, combat turn has nothing to do with hero's turn | i could use edit button :3
spells are supposed to last x combat turns, not x hero's turns | Hiya Straws, :)
Ermm.. define 'combat turns' pls. As in the stack's turn? | the hero is taken as a reference in most cases because it has 10 ini, and doesn't get morale burst, rapid delay etc.
your spell will last an equivalent number of turns as to X turns for a creature with 10 ini. | https://www.lordswm.com/forum_messages.php?tid=1832909
read that (if you haven't already) o get an idea about combat turns.
^X in prev post = spell power. | CTRL & click the stack twice to see how much longer the effect will last.
1 combat turn = the turn of one character with 10 ini (which is why at low levels people confuse it with hereos turn as they also have 10 ini) | Okie dokie, I got it.
Thanks all. :) | closed by Lord Jedi-Knight (2009-09-27 22:19:32) |
