I see hunters having easy hunts and asking for assistance. Can someone please tell me why? Thank You.
Cheers Majestic. |
It's their choice. Nothing wrong with that. |
maybe they don't want their hunts to become hard too soon.
When you win a hunt without assistance, troops count will raise by 30% in next hunt.
when you win a hunt WITH assistance, next hunt will contain only 10% more troops. |
i think they want more hunt gold that's it. |

for overclocker:
who started spreading that? its wrong
The amount of growth in case of victory: N=n*1.69^f
n = original amount in hunt
N = new amount next time
f = factions skill points that the main hunter gained during the hunt |

Good point. You gain more gold by doing more hunts at low level, keeping growth low through assistance. Two assisted hunts are roughly equal to one lone hunt in terms of experience and FSP, but brings twice as much gold for sure. |
Straws, thanks for pointing that out. I think I have read that info here on forum a long time ago. sorry for spreading lies :-/
I did a simple calculation and yes, it proves you are right with your equation.
let me answer Majestic's question in post #5 as well:
more hunts = higher chance for looting hunter art :P |
Two assisted hunts are roughly equal to one lone hunt in terms of experience and FSP, but brings twice as much gold for sure.
Not to mention the fact that the assistant also gets experience and fsp. Thus, if two players take turns assisting each other, each would get rougly double the experience, fsp, and gold, and 3 additional chances of getting an artifacts.
You each would have to fight four battles instead of one, and hunting with someone else would likely take more time than hunting alone, but the benefits are probably worth it. |
