Author | Poisoned In Hunts |
Hi all,
When you get poisoned by say a renegade tugs in hunts, the battle chat just sayd something like "Guardians are poisoned", but it doesn't say for how many turns.
So how do we know how many turns 1 of my troop is poisoned for?
Whatever the answer is, is it the same for all other hunt creatures that do poisoning, either by arrows, melee (renegade thugs) or spells (Senior/Genies)?
Thanks in advance. | Use ctrl+double click on the unit, the pop up box there will show any affects on your units and for how many turns | is it the same for all other hunt creatures that do poisoning, either by arrows, melee (renegade thugs) or spells (Senior/Genies)?
NO the amount of poison is equal to the number of units in the unit that's dealing poison. Number of turns for all is usually one except genies who tend to have more.
Any case, I'm curious...I just checked your profile and noticed you're level ten. How is it you never came across this info before? :S | Thanks Zyanya
Doh, I knew about the ctrl+double click, but never thought of it when the question popped in my mind earlier during a hunt. ppff.. Sorry, me bad.

Yes, I know about the amount of poison being equal to the units in the stacks that attacked me, so I was asking about the number of turns actually.

This is the part that I'm actually asking. I always thought it was 1 turn too, except for Senior/Genies, but I thought my assumption all along was wrong coz my X-bows was definitely poisoned more than 1 turn (was only hit once) during this battle.

Even against poisoners, my xbows was poisoned for more than 1 turn after being hit for the first time.

So, as you can see, it was more than 1 turn.
I coulda sworn in my earlier battles, the poison (almost) always last for only 1 turn. So what triggered the change?
So, does anyone knows what determines how many turns a stack is poisoned?
Except for the Genies, I thought every other hunt creature is 1 turn only.. :/ | From https://www.lordswm.com/help.php?section=32
Poisoning:
Besides taking damage of the attack, the target will be taking additional damage for two full turns, each time it would gain its turn. The damage taken every time is as much as there were poisoners at the moment of their poisoning attack. The damage is earth elemental, so certain modifiers apply to it.
Non-spell poisoning last 2 turns, damage is equal to size of stack.
Casters can use some magic characters do. Their spell power depends on the stack numbers.
- For duration spells, the spell is cast for as many turns as there are creatures in the casting stack.
- For damage spells, the formula is not linear, but it is unrevealed.
For spell poisoning (genies and Senior genies) the duration is 4 rounds (Advanced Dark) and the amount is... about 16*4(Stack Size) though sometimes more, sometimes less | Non-spell poisoning last 2 turns, damage is equal to size of stack.
I can swear my poisoner's poison only last one turn :/ | it's 2 turns. | even the 2 turns poison is correct. but, to make it more clear, all creatures cast spell with adv mastery.
that's why you get 2 turns poison, same go to dis ray, you will find out it cut down the def of 5 due to adv mastery | even the 2 turns poison is correct. but, to make it more clear, all creatures cast spell with adv mastery.
Maybe anchorites and senior genies can cast expert mastery.
My anchorites can cast stoneskin +12 defend :) | even the 2 turns poison is correct. but, to make it more clear, all creatures cast spell with adv mastery.
That is not true. Even for a single creature that can cast different spells, the level of mastery for each spell may be different. I believe druids cast lightning at Basic mastery, and Stoneskin at Advanced. Anchorites cast lightning at Advanced, and Stoneskin at Expert. | # Poisoning:
