| Can you produce, or earn your own recources (wood, iron, sulfur, steel, etc...)? | No, you have to purchase them, either from the mining facilities, or from the markets.
Steel, Magic Powder and Leather are machined goods and are only available from the Machining facilities. | | ah ,so what is this whole deal with making money by selling to factories. I read the little sticky that had 5 good ways to make money. Yes it does. You buy wood from the sawmill at 183 gold. Places like Nickel works buy wood for 190 gold, Jewellery of Doubts factory buys them for 187, etc.
Not a lot, but is a way to earn gold. | I don't understand the whole investing thing.

Buy 20 resources from the mining facilities (say sawmill for 183 gold each)
Go to a facility that buys wood by referring to the economic statistics page (https://www.lordswm.com/ecostat.php) and checking which facility wants to buy wood (click on the number in the Demand column)
Go to the facility and sell your resources (say at Nickel for 190 gold), thus you make a profit of 20*7 = 140 gold.
Success depends on the number of resources you can sell, the amount of gold the facilities has and whether they have too much of that resource already.
The economic statistics page's data is updated every 10 minutes, so situations may have changed by the time you reach the facility.
The resources in a facility are used up each time someone enrolls (allocates the resources for that person's 'work') so the best time is to sell at enrollment time.
Do the above for as many different types of resources as you can and you can do the above every 10 minutes (every end of a location's workhour) |
