I assisted the guy in a hunt, he was AFK from the very beginning, didn't make one move, and still I won HIS hunt alone. Don't I deserve the gold that he won from the hunt?
I need opinions both from players like me and from mods and admins alike... |
| There is nothing requiring him to pass you any gold, even if he wasn't AFK. You can appeal to his better nature, but there is no rule requiring him to listen. |

Who should I appeal to for a change of rules? And I don't mean this incident alone, but I have a few good improvements in mind that could actually be applied for the game without disturbing the game balance... |
| Its a half-hearted world really. If the one you were helping is someone who is good at heart, then you might get rewarded for your heroics. On the other hand, some might just fake an AFK so that you will do the work for them. Simply put, its best to help in hunts the people you know personally. =) Just my opinion. |

Then don't assist. No one demanded you assist. Take note of people who do that and refuse to assist them. Take note of who does treat you ncie and assist them instead. |
| I'm already starting to think like this, Takesister, but the thing is, there could be some simple mechanics for a fairer game. In my instance, AFKer gets nothing, player gets all gold, experience, skill. What's wrong with that? |

Very enough, free way of gaining extra exp, fsp and especially HG points. I don't think you would have made this thread if you recieved a hunter artifact. |
| Enough on a shared hunt, where each does his half of the killing/getting hit, but if I do 100% of the hunt, I get 100% of the reward. Why is this so hard to understand? |

hellcold, this has happened to me several times -- i still won the hunt, but even looting the artifact isnt good enough for the risk of wasting a decent arts durability - they got 1 ore and something like 200 gold (this was on my lvl 5 btw) and i got all the fsp but i still dont think its fair
-- they should at least make the - 2 luck penalty for assisted hunts aswell. not solo hunts or merc guild quests but anything when there is another player involved |
| Hmm I suggest for inisiators that make moves less than 5 times, then they will not get any gold .. :) that will be fair I think .... :) |
| Beyond the fact that changes to game mechanics aren't happening in this abandoned server, it occurs to me that such a system would create a whole new dimension for multi abuse, a multi could just set a hunt and afk. |

Look at maxka's transfer log, I'm guessing he went afk on PURPOSE or he was on the other accounts, enorias and maicamea. |

As for the people saying "no one forced you to assist, blah blah blah" - tell me, what does "assist" mean? Assisting means when someone is helping someone do something TOGETHER. If the person who goes AFK doesn't use the help, but lets the helper DO everything, then the helper should GET everything. I do know no one really expects everyone to just shower them with gold when they help, but there has to be something for your work.
Or, at least there should be that luck penalty. It's not much of a penalty, though.
As for multis... autoban for everyone doing anything together with their multi. ANYTHING.
