Hi,
I have a few questions about enchantment of weapons:
1. If I have a weapon that already has an enchantment of E6 - can a better enchanter improve this to E8 ?
2. Can a weapon that already has an enchantment of E6 get an upgrade to E6A6 or even E6A8? |

A better enchanter can only remove the E6 and put in E8. She cannot add 2 to the E6 to become an E8

Yes, it can, but the enchanter must be able to do that many types.
ie, a Rank 0 Enchantment Guild enchanter can only do 1 type, thus he cannot add to any previous enchantments. He can only start from scratch
A Rank 1 Enchantment Guild enchanter can do 2 types, so she can add A6 to a E6 to become E6A6, but cannot add to a E6A6 further
A Rank 2 Enchantment Guild enchanter can do 3 types, so she can add W6 to a E6A6 to become E6A6W6, but cannot add to a E6A6W6 any further
