I have a friend who already retired. he already give me 15% to me and 15% to his friend.
And my question is :
Can I received another 30% from the rest of his money after one month pass from his last present to me? give me a complete and detail answer and explanation.

Monetary property is considered: gold + seven primary resources (wood, ore, mercury, sulfur, crystals, gems, leather) only. So if he is giving you the gold because he left than that is illegal. But if he is just giving it to you as a gift than it is legal.

| Theoretically, you could receive 30% every month. Practically, if you want to avoid headaches, it's recommended not to. You don't do anything wrong by accepting, it's just a matter of headaches. :) |
| my interpretation of that rule is that you can only give 30% of what you make per month, if the friend has left the game they made 0 hence no they can't give you anything. |

From monetary property and not monetary property earned in that month. I know, it's a little bit ambiguous and your interpretation is the safest, but as it is now, the rule doesn't specify that one player has to earn something to be able to make a present.

The rule would have been MUCH clearer if it didn't mention the word large.
But large or not, any gold received from someone leaving the game should be considered dirty money and sent back to the owner or Empire - in my humble opinion.
Good players don't need this kind of "help". |
