Author | Artifacts needed for fighting? |
I read about it but can't find it in the FAQ or guide!
At lvl 5 do i really have to wear artifacts for normal hunting ? ? ? 5 artifacts? where can i find info about that topic.. !
yours, Wumtog |
not 5 artifacts - but 5 AP!
some artifacts have more than 1 AP, example given: Light axe 2 AP.
for detailed info about AP and price see here:

p.s. i hope i'm allowed to give that link, for i'm not a member of the warriors guild!
thx goes to them and shebali. |
The AP rule is that from Level 5 onwards, you are required to wear a certain AP worth of artifacts before you are allowed to start a battle. The official announcement is here: https://www.lordswm.com/forum_messages.php?tid=1842732
The Warlords Council has established new standards on military equipment. From now on, every Lord of level 5 and above will not be allowed to engage in combat without a weapon. Any artifact equipped in right hand is considered a weapon. Moreover, the Amunition points total of all artifacts equipped must at least correspond to the Lord's combat level. The AP value of all artifacts is listed in their description.
Minimum Ammunition points required:
Combat level 5 – 5 AP
Combat level 6 – 6 AP
Combat level 7-8 – 8 AP
Combat level 9 and above – 9 AP
Yes, you would need to wear artifacts even to hunt. You need 5 AP worth, not 5 artifacts. The AP of an artifact is given in its desciption. The cheapest 5AP artifact combo is Light Axe and Defender Shield, if I am right. |
sorry for double post:
yes - you always have to wear as many AP as you have levels from lvl 5 on. max is 9 AP at lvl 9.
this goes for all fights - except when you are ambushed. you don't need AP when you are attacked by others (by a thieve, by dragons at ridge of hope or by thieves in mercenary-quests). |
thank you for that outstanding help !
i will be careful not to level up too quick now. (not before i killed the easy hunts without having to pay for the arts)
anyway it will be sad not to do that pvp fun anymore..
thank you. |
hey watch out i think light axe and fire cloak might be even cheaper - though you don't get def from firecloak. but when you don't need it - its obviously worth trying ? =) |
no! cape of flame can't be bought.
there are just a few of em, and these are collectors items - so they are expensive... |
for Wurmtog:
Capes of flame are no longer being produced, thus any that are still around on the market cost about 40000 gold. |
Just enrol every opportunity u get and min AP rule shouldn't be a problem. |
