Author | +1 Spell Power = Effective last for 1 Hero Turn |
Hi all,
I know the description says that if you cast certain spells with 1 Spell Power, the effect will last for 1 Hero turn.
Now what if I cast bless on my xbows and my xbows stack gets morale boost and gets to go 2 times before the Hero's turn? Do my xbows still have the Bless effect on the 2nd attack?
Thanks in advance. |
Yes.
You can see the duration of the spell by CTRL-Clicking twice on a unit. The spell duration is given in hero turns. |
Yes, the duration is fixed as 1 turn, how many times you go in that turn doesn;t affect the timer, I believe. |
hmmm
Does that mean 'Poison' is a good anti-high-moral thing?
hmmm |
woups i always forget something:
And curses will be shorter with 'sorcery' talent?
Or anything that boost hero's initiative? |
for Gyver:
curse/other lasts x combat turns, has nth to do with the hero's turn, hero's turn is just used as reference, for a combat turn 'has' 10 ini too, just as hero's base |
as i remember curses and other buffs have their own initiative = 10, and they aren't influenced by sorcery or some other things |
Indeed. Sorcery and such make hero takes his turns faster than a "regular" hero turn, which is a time reference used for all spells durations.
A "hero turn" is defined like the time it takes between two turns of an initiative 10.0 stack.
Poison is more efficient on high-morale creatures (or "high-metabolism" as I call them): sprites, shrews, elite forest keepers, griffins. A morale boost worsen the effects of poison since the unit may take more turns while the poison is still in effect.
On the opposite, Ogres or Treemen are very bad candidates for poisoning! |
