funny enough, i always thought that it referred to the phisical location of the facility..
But no, it doesn't, since both the lab in BG and the sulfur dune in YL have an area value of 48 (while the lab in YL is 20, for example).

Area shows the size of a facility.
Technically, every point of Area provides 5 workplaces at 'primary' mining facilities (Sawmill, Ore pit, Lab, Sulphur dune, Crystal cavern, Gem mine) and 3 workplaces at all other facilities. |
Does it mean that in guild wars, we'll be able to upgrade a facility's area ?
