Hi all,
A few Qs:
1) What type of battle gives the most Combat skill points?
2) What type of battle gives the most Faction skill points?
3) For all types of battles, are these 2 related? As in, do u get a certain number of 1 in proportion to the other? Or it depends on what type of battle?
** If any of the above answer is PvP/group battle, would appreciate it if you could kindly also state the next highest, since PvP/group battle may not always be available, or everyone's cup of tea. :)
Thanks in advance. |

GBs, that is, if you win
2) What type of battle gives the most Faction skill points?
thief and dragons, when you win

Thief | for Head-Shot:

:p | 3) For all types of battles, are these 2 related? As in, do u get a certain number of 1 in proportion to the other? Or it depends on what type of battle? Thief ===> ?? Ermm.. that's not my Q.. | 1: all caravans, hunts and quests max out at 500*combat level
2: max fsp from hunt and quest is 0.5 from thieving it's 1
3: best ratios are thieving, low level hunts (if you have any saved), and low level quests - esp monsters and {0} raids.
dragon fight give 0.65 fsp for variable xp depending on number of dragons, but i'm not coounting that since it's a chance event.
if you want to farm fsp, doing monster quests and not reporting back might be the best method. | 3)

the first few fights when new creatures are unlocked for hunts give excellent xp:fsp ratios though :p | if you want to farm fsp, doing monster quests and not reporting back might be the best method.
How can you do that? If not reporting back you also not get another quest ... or am I wrong? | after 2 hours, the quest gets timed out, you fail and within 40 mins a new quest is give.
this method needs a lot of patience though :p | ah ... OK ... and since you failed you don't get quest difficulty increase then, right? | yep, that's the idea :) | if you fail a mg quest, does it count as a loss in the victory/loss columns? | The victory loss columns columns counts only the battle (which you won), not if you returned in time (failing the quest) | If i'm not mistaken, the outcome of the quest does not make a difference in your win/loss total, only the outcome of the battle. | if you want to farm fsp, doing monster quests and not reporting back might be the best method.

K, thanks for the answers so far, people.
1 thing I don't really get is this 'farming for fsp', 'give excellent xp:fsp ratios' etc.
I mean, I can understand when u are low-level (< combat lvl 5 and below?), and you don't wanna level up too fast so your character won't be weak coz of the low HG, LG, and maybe even faction/racial guild for some factions (like knights). But when u are of a certain level (maybe > combat lvl 10), why would you still wanna farm fsp and slow down leveling up?
I haven't look into this subject much, but looking at my own character (where I didn't plan or farm fsp, or deliberately do anything that specifically gives me excellent xp:fsp ratios etc), I'll still probably get to faction level 9 by the time I'm at combat level 12-13, and my HG, LG, TG, MG etc will be comparable with other players of that level.
And since most players are like me, why would anyone plan ahead to try and farm fsp or do stuff that give excellent xp:fsp ratios?
Thanks. | for Jedi-Knight:
it makes your character strong compared to other characters of your level. but it is expensive (no reward), and it is very slow. so, if you want to change faction to some of the impossibles at high levels, such as wizard, necro or knight, or if you want to become an enchanter or smith or if you want to slow down for any other reason, this is a good way. even if you're level 14.
also, if you don't want your MG quests to become impossible, you can decide not to finish those hardly won, and fight that same quest again and again until you level up and become more powerful. than you even get good xp. better than if you lose :) | Some people (eg. me) likes to save up as many fsp as possible to get good faction level for multiple factions, doesn't make that much difference, but 1 more faction level per faction is a god enough reward. | And since most players are like me, why would anyone plan ahead to try and farm fsp or do stuff that give excellent xp:fsp ratios?
:p the methods i mentioned are for players who change factions at higher levels,
farming easy mg quests is a pretty good way to get racial levels, because you don't really start winning ambushes till about faction 2. and most are possible min ap so it's cheap as well |
