in one dual of mine i had 11.5 initiative and the enemy got 11.3 and he was first why? |
random of first step - 10%
11.5 -> 11.5 - 11.5/0.9 = 12.777
11.3 -> 11.3 - 11.3/0.9 = 12.555
first step initiative 11.5 = [11.5 - 12.777]
first step initiative 11.3 = [11.5 - 12.555]
random - it is Peace Death |

what i have herd that at the beginning of combat ini doesnt matter. It is random where ur creatures start. Then in then next turn the ini starts taking affect?
whether thats true, not so sure. |
unit A 10/0.9 = 11.111 -> [10 - 11.111]
unit B 11/0.9 = 12.222 -> [11 - 12.222]
first step random:
A[11.05]
B[11.04]
two step - not random
B[11]
A[10]
on ATV line:
A-B-B-A-B-A-B-A-B.... A-B-B-A-...

so basically
to put it in the words that anybody can understand
when ur troops first start on the battle field they wont be affected by ini. They would just been thrown somewhere
then after their first move ini becomes in portent. The End |
@9 not exactly, shrews will always preceed zombs.
there is an initial 10% + or - distribution, so your troops are scattered by a 10% margin. after the first move however, they are set in correct order.
and to ensure that the same troops go before enemy, make sure the ini is more than 10% of enemy, eg shrews with 22ini will always outstrip shrews with 19 ini. |
when ur troops first start on the battle field they wont be affected by ini.
no!
but they get a random boost (up to 10%)
so when you got initiative 10, this could become 11, if the enemie has 10,9 that could stay that way --- ergo: you hit first. |
