Author | going offline during MG/HUNTS |
as far as i know the timer to act go on even if i'm offline.
That much i know is true for hunts, pvp and thief.
Does this also apply for MG quest?
I ask this because about one hour ago i was forced to interrupt my playing, i was in combat for a mercenary quest: army.
I logged back about 5 minutes ago expecting myself to be with the -2luck penalty and one less attempt at the quest avaible, but to my surprise i found myself in combat exactly where i left it | hmm i dont know but you dont get the luck penalty as far as iknow if your not playing with people | I believe for Army quests, you have a certain number of attempts. If you lose, you carry on with the enemies that are LEFT in the next attempt.
So if you had 10 x Farmers and 20 Bowmen when u start a quest, and after killing the 10 Farmers, for whatever reason (like you having to log off suddenly), you lose, you can now take your 2nd attempt... But this time, only what you have NOT killed (ie, 20 x Bowmen) will appear in the battle.
So I think u basically lose the attempt you were playing. Since you still had other attempts, and the time has not run out to complete the quest, there's no penalty in any way. | How it works:
If you're in battle (MG, caravan or hunt) AND no one else is looking at your battle, then you can close your browser w/o losses (let's say at time T1).
Then, after some time (at time T2) you may enter the game (open browser and log into the game) - and get right into the battle.
Sometimes it can "eat a turn", but in general it's ok.
BUT, all the time between T1 and T2 your status in the game is "in battle".
So, if some of your "friends" decides to see you battle, timer will start and you'll be skipping turns. And in this case you'll get -2 luck as a result. | for LazyGreg:
thanks for clarifying! i always thought of the same thing but arent sure, i used to like watching afk players battle at the top of battles list and they fled one by one :D | QATC, I guess. | closed by Lady Takesister (2009-08-17 11:01:52) |
