Author | Pros and Cons about getting ambushed by Drags. |
So i am wondering,
should i go to the ridge of hope and kill dragons?
Would i be able to deal the wizard extra damage agaisnt neutral (50%xfaction level)?
Is it wise to do so at my level?
Can i even kill any drags?
And finally what good would come from my killing drags besaides Faction skill points (FSP)?\
Thanks so much for answering he questions. I am a noob, so thanks from the bottom of my heart :D |
I don't think you could really kill dragons at level 5, considering Wild_Shooter, with triple mini-arts on all his creatures won only 1 in 5 attempts. |
Ok, thanks :D
Mods: Can u help me move to Queries section? Sorry for the trouble. Thanks :D |

check out his victories, and at least give it a try ;) |
well there are no cons as such for dragon hunting. you can do those fights with no arts on... so essentially you don't lose any money
and hourly trip to EB will take care of enroll.
if you want to train your patience and fsp RoH is a good spot.
and when bored return to safer map spots to hunt quest etc |
About the difficulty, on .ru, the number of dragon you face seems to be related to the meat you bring in the fight.
I've watched a fight ther where a lvl 14 travelling with a single skellie got ambushed by a single dragon.
As a wizard, you could try to bring a single garg and magic punch the dragon to death for an easy 0.65 fsp.
But I'm not sure the dragon "rule" is the same here. |
Note though that you probably won't get the wizard's bonus multiplier against neutral creatures:

So "magic punching the dragon to death" before your 1 garg is killed might prove more difficult than you think ;-)
Happy hunting! |
Ok.. thanks .. i would go on dragon hunting now :D thanks |
if u loose its not worth it but if u win u get 0.65sp |

Is this true? |

I'd like a link to this fight, I have to see it to believe it.
Here, as I heard, Dragon strength is based on your level and your previous victories and defeats. Exactly like caravans. So if you are level 3-4 you'll certainly meet just one dragon, but it might be challenging already! |
1 shrew + elemental call + 10 SP anyone?
surely that's going to kill a single dragon, or if not it almost will, could even get erudition for more SP :D |
i'm off to RoH :D |
con os one)random waiting time) |
another con: If you're waiting to do an army quest and get attacked, you lose troops readiness down to the amount the dragons killed |

Pros outweigh cons, simply because they're free to fight, cost you nothing, so you have nothing to lose except healing time |

Its fun. Dragons. You wont see a dragon at level 14 or some HG 6-7 maybe. |
*until level 14 |
