| well it's not really a thief but a brigand. it's kind of like a thief or caravan but it's for a merc quest so you don't really fight a thief. it's like your get attack by a brigand in the smae order as thieving to deploy your troops. but when a merc quest says to help merchants then it's ike the brigand if trying to rob the merchants |

for Marquise:
Thieves ambush people by declaring where they want to ambush and catching anyone who passes that way. That is separate from MG Brigands.
Think of it as if you are not on a delivery quest, Players ambush you if you travel. If you are on a delivery quest, both players and AI have a chance to ambush you. Just that the chance for the AI to ambush is 95%. |
