Author | supposed rally formula |
i've been told it's (3 tier 1 + 2 tier 2+ 1 tier 3)*(combat_level -4).
this mean at combat level 5 it's 3 2 1
level 6 : 6 4 2
level 7 : 9 6 3
level 8 : 12 8 4
This is clearly not the case since as a clearly example( me) at level 8 i get just 8 crossbowman and 4 swordsman.
So, again, what is the formula? |
level 8 :
12 recruits
8 xbows
4 swordmen
at least i guess... |
hmmmm... i checked (i never use rally) and somehow the formula doesn't seem to be right.
or do we have to get a different understanding of the working mechanisms of recruiting? |
Rally works like it's supposed to with 3 2 1.
This is if you are a 0 faction knight with no fort.
Knight faction level works with training so the amount you get changes with level and what tier you want. Training also affects tier4+, so you can get more tier4+ units from rally. |
but still strange - on lvl 9 i get a mximum of +4 swordmen. shouldn't it be at least +5? |
i tried and fort doesnt seems to affect the recruiting count for DE, only combat level does, but of course for knight, racial level too |
Knight faction level works with training so the amount you get changes with level and what tier you want.
I don't see the correlation this can have with rally, because every other parameters being equal, adding rally is supposed to add X Y Z units of tier 1 2 and 3.
If it added MORE, then there could be some doubt about its intertwined action with knight faction level/fort.
But if it add LESS( and that was what it did), that is clearly not the case of weird correlation with training chamber/fort, because i still have training chamber/fort even without rally, so whatever amount rally add is "on top" of training chamber/fort amount.
So, again, is (3 tier 1 + 2 tier 2+ 1 tier 3)*(combat_level -4). the right formula?
And if it's not, why i get less unit than stated? |
Rally also changes the maximum number of units available. As a level 9 Dark Elf, max recruit was 30 Shrews without Rally and 40 with Rally. |
