| only when you are level 6 and have built a black smith in your castle. then you can repair any item but not to full durability until you have 8 smithing. and to change a faction/town you go to you castle and under the picture of your caste there is a scroll down to change your faction. you click what faction you want and then you click change |

item can never be repaired to full durability, 90% of previous durability is maximum. But as Arghmage suggested, I believe this is already explained in FAQ. |
