AFAIk, it's a typo, and it actually mean defense.
i know for a fact that i can enter with negative luck( since i DID that), i also know that i can't with negative defense( tried with the axe thing that give + 2 attack -1 defense, defense went negative and i couldn't join battle) |

| i did a hunt on .ru with -luck but I'm pretty sure you can do it here too... |
| i repeat, i did a hunt with negative luck, that was because i had, to my dismay, AFK out of a pvp battle because i was at work and unforeseen circumstance forced me away from here( read: boss, d'oh) |
