What is a market history?

It's the history and lists of transactions (sell price) that has been done for a particular itme for 1, 2 or 3 months.

This will inform buyers of a fair selling price.

Lets say a particular thief item is selling on the market between 30 000 and 32 000 golds in a month period.

Buyers will know that's the 'average' price and if SUDDENLY the whole lsit of this item DISAPPEAR one day and are being sold at 37 000 by 1 person, buyers KNOWS there is price MANIPULATION and should be weary.
Sometimes, the average prices of stuffs will increase after weeks or months.

Not totally because of resellers, maybe everyone sells them in a higher price.

Due to your question, what can we do if we see someone buys all of the same stuff at the same time and sells them in a higher prices?
well just warn buyers
i really have no problem with the market
i only buy hunter arts from the market.
it is a persons fault if they fall for the over price prices in the markets.
I have no problems. All this can easily be solved if we just have more players in the market.
Currently there is NO mechanisms to observe market items sales and hence buyers can not have AN INFORMED decision on what is a fair price.

To 2:
TBH reselling is a valid 'profession'. But we need the tools to allow the BUYER to make an informed decision. We should not prevent people from purchasing over-priced goods. But allow smart and INFORMED people to overcome lasy and wasteful people.

To 3:
What if you were buying an item that ought to be 10% cheaper but you did not know. Ignorance is bliss but is it how you survive in real life?

To 4:
Even more players and hence supply wont permit INFORMED decision on how much to sell or buy. No thrends / infomation to indicate what customers / sellers want.

TBH expect the thief prices to go up... a lot.
I just got another idea, how about:

A BUY market?

Maybe another building to have teh BUY orders ability?

We need a GLOBAL transfer log to observe trends and 'average' prices for each item.

Its not practical to investigate the transfer 'DUMP all in' logs for EACH trader.
Observe..try it. Watch market for weeks, months, observe, the prices will become a natural part of the game.:-)
Only when there are a lot more artifacts and tradeables in this game will your idea be more feasible for the game. Otherwise, from a long-term perspective, your idea will actually ruin the game. People looking at this post from a strategic perspective of the game would probably agree with me.
