case 1 :
If the attacker have +10% magic damage on weapon and +10% spell damage on cape and his amry or his magic deal 100 base damage ,and the defender have 20% magic resist .
What's the final addition damage ?
case 2 :
If the defender have 20 defend and "expert defend skill" and he press defend botton , what's his defend when attacked by the attacker have 10% ignore defend ? (No extra magic damage this case.)
question : +10magic damage or 10 ignore defend ? which mod is better? |
waitting for answer |
case 1 :
The +10% enchantment on weapons affects only non-spell damage and the +10% on cape only affects spell damage
So with 100 base damage, the +10% adds 10 points for 110. 20% magic resist only prevents magic damage so:
If you troops attack, 110 points will be dealt.
If you cast a spell, 110 - (20% * 110) = 88 points of damage
Case 2:
20 Defence + Expert Defence + defending = 26 defence + 30% less damage
So if attacker has 10% ignore, the defence becomes 26 - (10%*26) = 24 defence and 30% less damage
+10% damage is better |
Oh,thx sister's answer!
"Defend" skill isn't relate to defend but damage :)
BTW,in high GB ,many armys can reach 40-defend . Is it "10% ignore defend" better? |
IMHO 10% extra damage is better than 10% Ignore Defense |
Expert defence = Opponent does 30% less damage against you
Defend Action = Your defence increases by 30% for one round
It depends. Each point of defence you lower increases your damage by roughly 5% as long as your attack is more than his defence. So it all comes down to situations and numbers |
hmmm....
Is it when "defend" bigger than "attack" , "Ignore" is better ?
On the opposite side , "extra damage" is better ? |
Well 10% extra damage will ALWAYS be 10% extra
But with 10% ignore defense can still be higher than attack.
So again IMHO 10% extra damage is better |
I want to give an example , suppose :
basedam=10
attack=30
defend=30
case1:
enchant with 90% extra damage and 30% ignore defend
final damage= 10*(1+0.9)*(1+0.05*(30-21))=19*1.45=27.55
case2:
enchant with 120% extra damage max
final damage=10*(1+1.2)=22
It shows "ignore" better than "extra" .Is it correct? |
not so complex :
case3:
only 10% ignore defend
dam=10*(1+0.05*(30-27))=11.5
case4:
only 10% extra
dam=10*1.1=11
"ignore" also better than "extra" :) |
