Hi all,
Recovering from an ambush and just thought I would share this (with a huge grin on my face).
Could this be the closest battle ever in the history of Lordswm?

I had one even closer back to I was a knight, although I forgot the link. :)
It was against a Caravan of demon, the devil kill my last swordsmen, but my hero kill the devil with escort.
And guess how many xp/skill I got from it? |

it just says you get zero but shebali says if you look you actually did gain the exp and stats

if my hero did any less than max damage, i would've lost, so my 1 forest keeper with three health left beat, a stack of 6 demons, and a stack of 1

I have to say: I had guardin upgrade advantage.
But I was very unlucky at beginning. My troops settlement was totally wrong to this player (I met several elves before who always put efk at right side, thats why I made such a settle).
I exposed my monks to elfbow. He got 2 very important lucks at crtical points: efk's first impact with griffin and unicorn's first impact with my guardin.
He was very good and played smart. I though I would lose in the middle.
But then, he made a mistake. He should calculate all the units' rest hps. He should save elfbow's last shot. This is critical. You still have arrows, guardins wont come close so that hero has to chop elfbow and druids' hp finally. No arrows, guardins will definitely catch speed5 creatures and chop them so that these creatures' hp wont be counted in matchup.
Anyway, I won coz I never gave up.

Wow.. some very nice and close battles!
Now if someone could only post one where the battle was won/lost with just 1 unit of 1 HP troop standing. That would be the icing on the cake! :) |
