MasterTI didn't ever use barb. Even the number is half of Hobg. wolf has twice HP n attack! |

wolf is faster but it is a large creature.
So, your opponent can block your wolf from their range units.
Hob has lower hp but you can have more hobs than wolf.
But remember your opponent can kill off your hob easily if you use the wrong strategy. |

by the by it really depends on your playing style if you want to do kamekazi attack choose goblins if you want to play safe and say deal good damage even if some units are lost wolfs are great especially when they become riders just make sure to have enough goblins(4 in my opinion) at level 5 to take retal so 4 stacks of goblin 1 stack of wolf 1 of orc and 1 of ogre
if you r thinking of before level 5 wolfs all the way how ever at level 2 you may take more gobs than wolf at level 2 you get 4 less wolfs and 18 extra gobs later this ratio changes of course p |
1-5 wolve
6-7 hobs
8+, normally wolves are better, but when facing DE in group battle, you may want to switch to hobs+vitality, because your wolves die in the first round. |
