Yesterday I've rent tgi a player, today he's blocked becouse of password sending ;( Can somebody (admins please!!! :() turn me back my tgi?? |

3.17. The Administration does not take responsibility for the unreturned debts and does not guarantee compensation in case of swindling by other players. When a loan is not returned in time, (the time must be written in the transfer logs, no more than a month) the swindler will be imposed a penalty of a sum twice as much. If the term isn't posted in the transfer logs, the penalty will occur 1 month after the loan transaction. The creditor does not get compensation.
Although this deals more with being swindled, but the end point is that you will not get compensation for the loss. |
If you're going to rent a TGI you should really check the candidates Transfer Log first.
If they're doing anything shady or otherwise against the rules you shouldn't rent to them, it's that simple.
Even if they're not going to be blocked immediately, anyone that is happy to ignore the rules is likely to try and find some other way of cheating you out of your return TGI. Like transferring it to a multi for example.
There is an obvious risk associated with renting out a TGI, which is why TGI owners can ask such a high price. But sometimes that risk will come back and bite you, no matter how careful you are.
IMO, selling the TGI is the safest option.

I agree. You have to do your homework. How could you not?
Also, I wouldn't rent TGI to level-6 or level-7 players. Too risky, unless you personally know the player. Higher-level players have invested more time in the game, so are less likely to do stupid things. |

Sorry to hear about it. Really, really feel the pain. I know I would really be pissed beyond words if the person I'm renting a TGI to is block, and on my first rental as well --> meaning, like you said, didn't even get a chance to make some gold back for all the gold, time, arts and frustration we invested in getting the TGI.
And since password transfer is apparently a block by itself, it really don't matter about checking a player's transfer log, since (no matter how small the chance), a player can be rule-abiding for all other aspects of the game except password transferring.

Geryon, it's difficult to find people you're talking about. I've made my first tgi when I was at lv 7/8. Only lv 6 players contact me.
Yes, you are all right, I should be more careful, but I haven't even imagine I could lost it forever NEXT DAY.
So what people do in this case? Buying tgi and renting again? Couse I wanted to rent it. -.- |
