Hi all,
Just a quickie -
If I'm facing say a Wizard Hero or Magi, and he has a specific Spell Power, Knowledge and level, the lightning spell (or any other magic attack spells like Earthen Spikes etc) it deals to me is the same regardless of what defense my troops have, right?
Meaning, if a lightning spell dealt 100 damage to say, my Monks, in a battle when I have 20 defense, it'll still deal 100 damage regardless if I have 0 or 100 defense?
Thanks in advance. |

Yes. |
yes |
I experienced one exception. When I was fighting caravans of necromancers, my magic punch dealt less damage. AFAIK magic punch is considered physical damage, so it seems racial level had something to do with damage modifier.
Could any PvP wizard confirm this? |
Racial level gives you 3% resistance of all damage form that race. Even magic spells. |
for overclocker:
The Caravan of Necromancers are not considered to be neutral creatures since they are led by a Hero. This your Wizard factional skill does not apply. Maybe you are used to the dealt by you to neutral creatures? |
Caravans have 21% faction resistance |
theirs physica resistance and magical physical is defense and magical is with elemts enchantments or talents |
