AuthorDo Caravans reset at lvl up?
Caravans get stronger if you win and weaker if you loose but what happens in a lvl up?
The caravan gets harder because of the lvl but does it start on the medium difficulty or at the difficulty you where at?
of course harder.. for example.. u are thief combat lv 6.. caravans are easy.. but of course they wont still the same if u lvl up.. im lvl 8, and ppl who i ambush and caravans are lv 8 like me.. u only can ambush ppl of ur lv!!! so caravan will get harder
i think when u lv up u'll be in medium diff of the lvl u reached.. but not sure
I don't believe difficulty is reset to any setting. There are 2 types of difficulty: combat lvl and win ratio. Combat lvl affects caravan lvl and win ratio affects caravan stack units.
Nope. 4 Said it pretty well.

So yeah, they always get harder at level up.

Cheers,
LS
Based on what I know, Caravans get about 20% harder when you level.
which is bad for lvl 9 because you dont get 20% better at lvl8-->lvl9
for diversecity:
Just bye an upgr to your tier 3 units for brilliants at 9 lv, u'll be happy ;)
i dont have 45 dolors extra to spend =(
Ok #3 is for reset of realtiv difficulty #4 against it.
Rest didnt get my Question right. So i should try to ask more clearly.
Like Panteon said the difficulty is defined by 2 things Combat lvl and Winning/Loosing street. This Winning/Loosing street defines the difficulty as lets say S.
My Qestion is does S reset when you reach a new Combat lvl.
^
for Makkadihm:

Whenever you win a caravan, the difficulty increases by about 7% and becomes 5% weaker after every defeat.
When you level up, the difficulty increase by 30%.

The 'streak' does not reset

Takesister, has those % numbers been confirmed? I've heard several different % numbers.

Even your own post above say 20% instead of 30%.

I got these numbers from Kotrin, who got it from Shebali, and from Kiaune.

Oops. Typo. 20%. My apologies.
Oh that post... that was probably the first time I heard the 7% / 5% numbers. Later on I heard other numbers.

Not that I don't believe Kotrin's quote of Shebali, but I like to hear how they got those numbers.

Over the past 6 weeks I've purposely lost a majority of my thief ambushes and I only seen a slight drop in difficulty. Yes, I realize there's many types of caravans, but I'm talking about over 200 losses.
OK thx. Now i can estimate how long i will loose ^^
i reached TG2 in lv6 , on lv6 i continued with TG & reached 147 points ( 27 over TG2 ) & caravans weren't that hard to do , but then i reached lv7 & when i tried caravans.... those were impossible !!!

so.... caravans get harder

Caravan difficulty isn't related to your TG level. It's related to your combat level and your win ratio.
i think #17 is answer to #1 .....

Caravan diff was almost impossible (for me totally impossible cuz i failed every single one of them ) after reaching new lvl......
Sometimes same type of lost caravan is even harder next time instead of easier, because the game maybe counts with whole hp of caravan but doesnt matter types of units. Here is an example:

Caravan 1

255 crossbowmen
255 crossbowmen
21 monks
20 monks
+ few farmers around

After above lost caravan appeared the same type with:

Caravan 2

232 crossbowmen
232 crossbowmen
25 monks
25 monks
+ few farmers around

So maybe the whole hp of caravan decresed little bit, but caravan became even stronger, because although there were 46 crossbowmens less, there were 9 monks more and no doubt 9 monks are stronger then 46 crossbowmens.
This topic is long since last update and considered obsolete for further discussions.
