thieves can ambush you on any route, but most thieves only ambush a few well traveled routes.
For level 6 there are few thieves and lots of travelers, so you will not get to battle with many thieves. This is reversed at the higher lvls. |

Thieves are players, not AI Controlled. So the frequency is dependent on the number of people online and where they want to set up their ambushes.
You can meet them on all routes. |
| how do players become thieves, do they have a separate invitation or, buy or upgrade anything? |
Players become thieves by getting a Thieves' Guild invitation (TGI) and using it.
You can get a TGI by:
1)Purchasing it from the Thieves' Guild (https://www.lordswm.com/thief_guild.php) for 80 Diamonds
OR
2) Purchasing them from another Player through the forums or market
OR
3) Renting them from another player through the forums or market
OR
4) If you are already a Thief, you get them when you reach TG 2 and TG 4 |
