how to chat at battle? | Referring to the picture on this page:

You chat by typing in the small text area between the "Initiative Bar" and the "Combat log and Chat"
Then press either Enter or the > button on the right side of the text area to send the message | | You can talk in your own battles by typing in white strip above text box. YOu cant talk in anyone elses battles without being level 3+ |
