hi i have created an alt account but i was wondering if i am able to make my alt account my main and my main my alt
the reason im wanting to change as i have changed faction and wasted loads of time where its not needed and i wish to play as a knight which is dependant on faction level and wish to
i have read this thread - https://www.lordswm.com/forum_messages.php?tid=1847758 but dont understand if its possable or not.
my only problem from what i understand is that i have posted with this account(my main but i wish it to become my alt) and dont know if this wil cause problems |

| The posting here is not really a big deal. Try to think about which one of your accounts you want to play, because changing multi-main back and forth multiple times can cause some problems later. |
Once you change a main to an alt, that character would most likely be blocked since the character would have done things that an alt cannot (point 52 in the FAQ you linked to: https://www.lordswm.com/forum_messages.php?tid=1847758&page=2#148728)
So once you change, please do not use your ex-main again. |

what #6 and #7 wanted to advise you is that at higher level you are not allowed to increase thieves guild, smiths' guild and enchanters' guild with your secondary character. but until level 6, don't worry, you can still change your mind for few more times. :) |

Not really.
Once he changes his main to an alt, it becomes an illegal character and cannot be played at all, regardless of level. Read Shebali's answer again:

But an Alt can indeed raise thieves guild, smiths' guild and enchanters' guild. You can buy a TGI via diamonds and start theieving, but never sell nor rent your TGIs and Thieves' arts. You can enchant your own artifacts and repair your own items. |

A: Yes you can, but your ex-main will most probably be blocked. After all it will have loans, repairs, etc. – all things not permitted for extrachars.
i have no loans or repairs tgi theif or anything rally..all my account has done is hunt duel post and play the 2towers game aswellas buy/sell items
the only one im aware of that i cant do with alts is the post thing
so is this still going to be locked if i change? |

in this case don't worry, just switch them in profile. :) |
As long as you have not done any of the following:
- make presents to anyone, or pay/receive clan taxes/entrance fees.
- loan, lend or borrow any game valuables.
- enchant or repair other players' items.
- transfer items for repairing or enchanting.
- take or give items for rent.
- buy avatars (even at the expense of the main character) or any other game services.
- buy, trade or exchange rare set artifacts and Thieves' Guild invitations(TGIs).
It should be ok.
It's just that most people have done those. Thus my comment about it being not level-defendant. |
the only things i have bought are normal shop weapons and stuff but i dont think that counts
i have never loaned orlent anything
im not part of a clan and havent gave any presents
i cant enchant and havent had any enchanted items
i havent transfered items
havent rented items
havent got an avatar and not high enough level for TGI
so this means i can switch them then? |
