why people buy ordinary artefacts on market ,when they can buy them from empire cheaper?
is there something i dont understand about this game?

If you are using a lot of artifacts and a number of them run out at the same time, you can imagine it will take some time travelling around all the production facilities to buy them, if the price on the market is not much higher than the price at the factory then it is worth saving the time travelling.
Also dont forget that in order to purchase at the factories you often need resources as well which may require more travelling around the various mines as well. All in all just easier to use the market |

or people just don't know the real prices or any alternative locations. It's like buying potion of oblivion for more than the actual cost. |
Another possible reason is that they have a hunt up and they do not want to pass it by leaving the area to buy stuff from the facilities and their min arts are all at 0 durability.
And sometimes the production facilities just run out, so people have no choice. |
