try to look at factions after lvl 8!
you will find out that they are mostly DE, showing that this is the "best" faction on this game, if that continues, soon at least 60% of all lvl8+ will be DE, reason? their mighty shrews! I have done some research, and i guess most of the non-DE of lvl8+ would like to switch to DE if they would have the resources, gold...there will soon be only one faction! very few people play with their faction just because of they like it the most, most of DE play with them because they are the best hunters and most other things! |
| Well, i like DE from lvl 1, its just the best for me, if i had money i would build elf castle too, and barb. but money isn't so easy to get so i just stay what i registred :P, and dont worry, DE can be beaten with good arts and tactic :P |
I am going to have to disagree with you on this one. Sure those shrews are great and they have their perks but it doesn't mean DE will be the only faction. Many other players I know are very fiercely loyal to their current factions and would much rather work on getting their faction skills up then switch factions. As for myself I see DE as a secondary faction. I would rather work hard on Wizard from the start and get that racial skill high because I know that breaking into Wizard with low racial at higher levels would be a lot harder than breaking into a Dark Elf.
Also. Once the players reach DE 9 most players are going to want to expand out their skills and play another faction, hence another reason as to why there will never just soon be only one faction!.
Another point. You said that DE are the best hunters, many people would beg to differ. DE play well when against low, slow initiative /morale creatures. They are not the best when it comes to some of the higher tiered creatures like Angels. And certainly not the best when it comes to ranged creatures.

well... 15 out of 25 of the top players are DE... it doesn't matter why, there are many reasons (on don't tell me shrews aren't one of the main reasons).
so: yes, it is VERY boring. The higher a players level the bigger the chance she or he is changing to DE. |

Only one thing to add. DE (and Elf in my opinion) are the best secondary faction for all the others, expecially at high level, where the last PvM you have to play are some hunts and ambush.
But in PvP I can assure you that every factions has his stength and with good tactics you can enjoy PvP forever. |

DE's are only powerfull in hunts and ambushes, in group battles they have their weaknesses. When I'm level 12 I will play only Barbarian again, because this shrew-hit-and-run is sooo boring. Probably I will never get to level 13 or 14, but I don't aim at this anymore. At a certain point only group battles make sense, that's what i want to do.
But why do you cry about Top 25, most of you probably will never get there or even meet this players in a match. |
| Just because there are alot of DEs in the top players doesnt mean it will stay that way, alot of them are doing i to train all of the factions to get resistance against other factions which helps alot in ambushing |

I am wondering, if the game will still go on by then, in half a year which will be the faction in vogue? Start your bets! (joking with the bets - they are forbidden by the rules) :) |

anywho this game gets really boring if you can't find anything to do. as for me its quite fun saving gold to get arts then battling once I get full arts. :D |
well, actually arikos, saving money is the only lame thing that entertains me in this game.
The ability to create an off forum and further it to personal off forum threads is what does intrigue me though.
Eventually from my understanding I can have a clan forum that will be able to completly speak its peace as long as it is an off game sight based on the game and done right.
For this I cannot wait. Ours will be open to all who have a mind to speak, white sheep need not apply,
