Hi all,

I have been playing as a knight almost entirely here, and as most of you know, faction/racial level is crucial to a knight and his army, coz the higher the faction level, the more of certain troops he gets. It's part of the Knight's faction special ability.

Now my Q is - How does faction/racial level (if any) affect other factions?

I'll do this so anyone kind enuf to answer, can just copy and paste the below to their answer:

Knight: each skill level allows the Knight to recruit more bowmen, swordsmen, monks and cavalry at the cost of reducing the amount of lower level recruits.
Necromancer:
Wizard:
Elf:
Barbarian:
Dark elf:
Demon:
Dwarf (Not here yet, but maybe someone knows what faction level does to this faction too)

Necromancer: Higher faction level higher skeletal recruitment.
Wizard: Higher faction level More damage with spells against neutrals. Higher level mini arts.
Elf: Higher faction level higher chance for critical hit.
Barbarian: Higher faction level more resistance against magic.
Dark elf: Higher faction level more magic piercing.
Demon: Higher faction level be able to gate more.

Necromancer: The higher the faction skill the more skeletons (skeletal bowmen) they can recruit from reserve

Wizard:the higher the faction level the better the mini arts they can get and there spell damage is massively increased against neutral creatures

Elf: the higher the faction level the higher the chance of dealing critical damage to a favoured enemy - luck and crit = very powerful

Barbarian: magic proof the higher the faction level the more resistant their troops are to direct damaging magic

Dark elf: Piercing magic. their spells can pierce through magic shields at a rate equal to faction level

Demon: Gating the higher the level the more units will be gated with higher chance to succeed
Since Elf starts with +3% initiative, I suppose the initiative coming from faction levels is also one of the reasons to level up as faction as soon as possible. Unfortunately, that was valid before the implementation of the rules updates. :(
