Author | how to calculate damage with talents? |
example of talents used:
basic offence, advanced offence, battle fury, cold blade. |
+30% resistable damage, +15% water elemental damage. |
+30% resistable damage,
Wrong, battle fury is not +10% damage. |
battle fury= +1 max and min damage.
advanced offence= +20%
cold blade= +15% water
So if the stack had 2-3 damage, with talents it would be 3-4 + 20% physical + 15% water + attack paramater(about +5% for each point) |
didnt read carefully thought it was basic, adv, expert :) Thanks for pointing that out..
For DE battle fury gives averagely approx 15-20% more damage. For Shrews its +17%, for liz +11% and for Hydraz 10% |
hiddenshadow: I just realised, sorry I didnt mean to insult you, it just might look that way.
But we are still waiting for takesister to paste the whole 2 pages formula of damage dealing. |
I think you guys have it handled. And I don't perform on demand. |
The order of applying talents is decisive. To maximize damage battle fury must be applied first.
for Omega22: please give me example by this model
final damage = k * basic damage
let's simplify the example.
talents used are basic offense, advanced offense and cold blade.
final damage = 1.2 * 1.15 * basic damage = 1.38 * basic damage?
or
final damage = (1.2 + 0.15) * basic damage = 1.35 * basic damage?
PS:i noticed after calculations that the difference is really slight
thanks all |
It should go like this:
Battle fury is applied first, altough I am not sure if the bonus it gives is multiplied any further. I mean I dont know if the +1 damage is affected by cold blade and advanced fury or not. I will try to find out somewhere.
Basic damage 100 = 100 damage + cold blade 15 + advanced off 20 = 120 physical(affected by defence) + 15 water(affected by magic proof, or other magic/elemental resistances) |
+15% water elemental damage.
what does it mean? what is water elemental damage? |
So if i have cold blade and i fight enchanted garg does not work? |

Sure, never thought about that but I guess so. Enchanted gargoyle is immune to magic so it is not harmed by enchantments as well. |
so enchantment raise only magic? not direct damage? |

Once again,Enchantments:
Weapon:+Magical damage by troops
Jewels:+Magical damage by hero spells
Armour:+Magical defence
Moonstones enchants are special and their bonuses are non magical. |
so i dont need it. maybe only armor. . . |
Weapon:+Magical damage by troops
I don't think weapons' enchants are limited to magic only.... right? |

No, I mean if u enchant a weapon with say 10% air magic, u also deals +10% damage with a physical melee/shooting strike. |

plz, someone reliable person accept or reject it. I dont want to waste money if I it deals only magic damage!!! |
I'm 99.9999999% sure when u enchant a weapon, it does physical NON-magic (melee, shooting, etc) damage.
The elemental part of the weapon enchant (air, earth, water, earth) has relevance to creatures (gargoyles etc) that has resistance to that particular element. |
