how is the increase in melee damage calculated when using talents and for example master hunter cutlass.
Is it all calculated of the base value or is it compounded?
So for example if you use all 3 Melee talents + the master hunter cutlass and your base damage value is 10 then is your actual damage. 10+1+1+1+1 = 14 or about 10+1.1+1.21.. etc = 16.. ?
Or is it totaly different :) |
But all Offence talents (basic offence, Adv off and Expert Off) gives you +30% damage, which turn 10 points to 13 points of damage
Master Hunter Cutlass gives you +3 attack, that factors to unit damage more than hero damage, I believe |
Sorry - i meant the Master Hunter Sabre that increases melee damage by 10%.
So yes you are right the Talents is 30% but how are the 10% added when using a sabre... |
Ok.
The formula is Final Bonus = 100% - (100%-bonus1)*(100%-bonus2)*.....
With the Sabre, it is
100% - [Talents](100%-30%)*[Sabre](100%-10%)
= 100% - 70%*90% = 100 - 63% = 37%
With all 3 talents and the sabre, you are at +37% damage |
With expert offense and master hunter sabre, you'll get +30% x +10% = +43% damage.

Hobgoblins deal 210 damage to Giants. 1 perish.
Number = 45
Base damage = 4
Titan def = 27
Hobgob att = 20
+10% Basic offense
+10% Melee damage (master hunter cutlass)
+30% dmg to neutrals
45 * 4 / [1 + 0.05*(27-20)]*1.1*1.1*1.3 = 210 |
