So what happened in last 5 days?
There was a big boom, hurray, Finacial section has been taken care of. First page cleaned. But there are some questions raising:
1.Why 90% of reports were locked and discarded without attention? Are we in some sort of LA drug dealer fight? Let the small fish go, only arrest the big ones(above level 10)?
2.What was the deal about giving 72 hours BAN to DeasprateDesire, Asmodin, Casri, me and probably others. What are the specifications of local rule 16 of CaA? I am not so bold to say I didnt breaking any rule, but I can say I am still not aware of breaking any. I believe this was my only communication with Darygeo: https://www.lordswm.com/battlechat.php?warid=12010716, so what was the vengeance and personal reasons about?

Since when do the administration unblock players with 10+ accounts? The only one that was released from BLOCK was the player who borrowed Zyanya`s thief invitation. So is there some sort of privilege for mods in this? Because I saw players blocked by administration before they were able to return the TGI to the owner and when owner requested help, they have just ignored him. So is property of mod more important than ordinary player or there was some other reason for this decision? |

It seems that not the fact that Zyanya was implied there, but

That means a whole big family is play from the same IP. In the end, you cannot blame people for not affording more than 1 IP, can you? The admins blocked the char for a belief that all those chars belonged to one person and unblocked the char after reconsidering the alternative.
As much as I don't agree with many mods from here, what belongs to Ceasar should be given to Ceasar (meaning, what is correct should be respected and not twisted in this case).

Actually their profiles had singed characters (well at least the guy who rented from me had them) like the text quoted by post#3 above. Now, of course, if that fact is made up or if there are indeed multiple family members playing from the same IP is anyones guess.

I sure hope not. Don't get me wrong, I'm very grateful for the prompt unblock action taken by admins so I won't lose my TGI due to something which wasn't under my control. But I hope it's not the case that mods' property is more valuable than other players' property.
Personally I think every case similar to my own should be dealt the same way because, after all like a friend of mine said here it's more important to "protect the innocent than punish the cheater". However, what I'm concerned about making this unblocking a common practice is that genuine cheaters might start using the "I've rented a TGI" as an excuse to keep their accounts unblocked. :S |

The admins didn't unblock TheKingOfHell because it was Zyanya's TGI that he was renting. There was statement made to a mod (No names) which was forwarded to empire and i believe one other but im not sure.
When the mail was read i do believe the admins looked into the case and choose to give a second chance which has happened only twice in the past.
The admins empire whoever you want to call...are fair. If you can provide some evidence that something was falsely directed or mis-leading in anyway then i am sure they will listen and take it into consideration.
Considering that in the past mods have been know to be harrased, impersonated etc...and admins have done nothing about it. If you want to think that the admins are playing favourites that is your opinion.
But IMO they are fair as fair can be and if you provide good enough evidence then you will get same treatment as did naturelord's brother. |

I just remembered the similar case when by blocking player for family member/multi/10+ accounts a player lost his TGI.(I believe it was player Scratchy). Those things were the reason to sell my TGI in the first place.
For the record, moderators are doing great work here and I have no reason to accuse any of them of something illegal. I was just trying to find some pattern in dealing with these situations. Looks like it differs from case to case based on the proofs. |

the gods have spoken. you better keep quiet before we all get in trouble. Dont you know not to question what these people do know matter how ridiculous the situation is?? they are above human and can do as they wish. i think the only reason they haven't locked this thread yet is because they are waiting for you to get upset so you say something bad and then they can ban you.
but they can ban you whenever the feel like it, so maybe they just havnt seen the thread yet.
remember, questioning is a freedom that not everyone has, here in Lords where the forum is a dictatorship, there is no questioning. |

But the topic starter is asking the meaning of the rule...and as long as the discussion is about what the rule means instead of randomly saying "admins are wrong! why they ban me?!" I see no rules that are being broken personally. |
so just ask if you think they are wrong dont state your opinion. i have a feeling no matter how many times or way you ask if they are wrong you will get shut down and thread locked over and over.
but you shouldnt give your opinion in saying i think they messed up, or i think they are abusing they're powers. then you will get banned because that is against the rules.

I prefer the line of discussion: "What was the problem with the rule and how to avoid the same mistake again?"(Lets suppose I dont break forum rules on purpose but by accident)
If it is possible lets stay out of the empty topic like: "Admins are wrong and unfair." Because it is not true and good for nothing. Disrespecting game administration/ moderators improves nothing. Especially mods seem to be open to any productive and calm discussion. |

I know about the other thread related to the lost TGI. Scratchy (who paid with real cash to get his TGI) lost 1 TGI because the player was blocked for multiple violations of the rules related to the interaction between the main and multis. The admin could have been a little bit more flexible, but they weren't. But here is not the same thing. Here we are speaking about something nobody has control. There are parts in the world where people cannot afford to have access to the technology as in, e.g., the western civilization (I've seen even there people affording only a very old technology). Until proved otherwise, one has to rely on the information gotten from the players. Cheaters or not, nobody knows for the moment and it's not fair to block players who use the same PC/IP as it is not fair to connect this incident with the fact that a mod was involved. I saw Arctic reading the forum from time to time so, it can be that he initiated the idea of unblocking that player. |
