I am now level 6 and have built the blacksmith so I can repair and modify items. How do I know which element is for which modification? There are several different modifications you can do and I want to know which element is used for which.

you get a drop down list of the element combination and effect in your blacksmith.
select a weapon, armour and amulet to get weaponsmith, armoursmith and jewelcrafter combinations.

After you level in enchanting, your % of effects increases. If you have already modified an item before you levelled, would the new % take effect on the item you already modified. |

no. You would have to encant a new artifact with the new effects that you gain at the new level. |

If you have previously enchanted an item and have since levelled your Enchanters' Guild level, you will need to remove the old enchantment in order to add a new %.
But at higher levels, you can add a new second (even third and fourth) enchantment, but it must be different from the first one. |
