Author | AI targeting assistant in hunt? |
I've seen this happen in countless hunt-assist battles. The ai almost always attacks the assistant first! Why is that? Does anybody have a theory on this? |
i believe that it first goes after shooters and then followed by higher ini units
in https://www.lordswm.com/warlog.php?warid=479035787<=-1 imho i think that's because of the terrain it's not allowing 2 lizards to go on you so they go after your partner
as for https://www.lordswm.com/warlog.php?warid=479028686<=-1 they went after shrews because of their high ini(maybe that was because they had big shields) |
they always target strong creatures first. they normally dont go for knight creatures when there are shrews, elven, liz, hounds etc around |
that sounds about right. when my griffs are on the field, they are almost always the "juiciest" target for the ai so the initiative thing might have something to do with it. |
Shrews must be the most taste creature ind the game...
even xbows are left out when there are shrews involved... |
Mind, i definately think that the AI system has changed recently, which is making it really hard for me to plan ahead in hunts. Previously the enemy used to attack my vamps first until they got down to 3 then they would go for ghosts, and they would also always try and reach the bowmen if they were close enough, even if it meant sacrificing attack to kill a zombie blocking them. Yet now they are attacking my ghosts first, and i have no idea what else has changed. |
The size of your stacks, maybe? Did you change the composition of your troops recently? |
The AI favor these:
Range units
High init units
High tier
High units in a stack |
Yeahh usually the knights are left behind .. :) that is good I think .. Who has better defence will be left behind .. :) kill the troops that have less HP and less number also have very great damages, LIke Elvens and OFC (the first ALWAYS targeted creatures) : the red-haired ... :) |
