| Thief's guild gives much better and faster experience |
Thieves' guild is much harder than merc quests when you face the AI caravans.
MG gives more money if you factor in the cost of rental or purchase of the TGI (due to getting elements. a few Moonstones and you're rich)
TG gives better bonuses (+ init), but MG gives more versatile ones (+1 any stat)
MG is less adversarial and requires less art usage. |

That won't be a problem as long as they lay low. Plus, it adds an element of excitement to life. ; )
Though, a merc may need to make their living by taking illegal jobs as well. |
