Author | The attacking back phenomenon |
When a stack attacks another, the latter hits back immediately...
But I have noticed sometimes, they don't...
IS there some rule? Or is it random? Or some abilities? | every stack can retaliate only once every after they made their move
unless the creature has unlimited ability, they retaliate every attack to them
or the creature has no retaliation, and they dont get attacked back after they attack | It is called retaliatin or "Retal"
IS there some rule? Yes there is, a stack can retal once b'fore it's next turn.
Or some abilities? Some creatures have Retal-type abilities, like vamps can attack without fear of retaliation, while griffins retaliate to each stack which attacks it (exception : non-retaliation units) | Retaliation happens once a stack is hit by another, but only once after it's own turn.
Meaning it will retaliate against the first enemy that attacks it in melee after it has it's own turn, and will not retaliate again until it has had its own turn again.
Some Creatures have the ability "No Retaliation". This means that all enemies cannot retaliate against this creature. The defending stack does not lose its chance to retaliate though, and will retaliate the next enemy that hits it if it still has not retaliated that turn.
Some creatures have the ability "Unlimited retaliation". This means that this creature retaliates all melee attacks excluding those of creatures with the "No retaliation" ability. |
