| i always read one should begin thieving at lvl 6. Now i'm about middle 9th lvl, does it still make sense to buy a TGI? or am i too late for it? is it much harder too do now? |

If you can afford the 80 diamonds to buy a TGI then coule be well worth it since 80 diamonds translates to 200K gold, and you will then end up with a TGI of your own at both level TG2 and TG4. You can sell one to recoup around 400K gold and rent the other or sell it as well.
I did this (albeit I was level 6 at the time) rented one out and sold the 2nd one, and then subsequently sold the 2nd one as well. This enabled me to get full Thief set for subsequent ambushes and also excellent for merc quests, being DE.
The choice is yours, but you have to factor in that you will need good arts after you reach TG1 in order to progress |

| Yes, especially with a knight good full arts are needed, and it will your life a lot eaiser if you enchant your weapons. |
| As knight, your best option IMHO is to wait till level 10. Buy full arts and guardians. Then max your DEF with DEF talents and escort. Guardians can rip ambushes apart, you should be able to complete easy in 1/2 weeks with full arts and gaurdians. |
| from my experiences, it's really hard to do ambushes for level 9 & 10 knights, even with full arts. level 9 is definitely easier than level 10. my advice is to switch to elf or dark elf to do ambushes, and do as many ambushes as possible when you're still level 9. also, i think renting tgi is better than buying one. use the extra gold on arts. |
