I was having a look at the Necromancer barnabus.
He apparently has a brother who is very generous. His brother has single-handedly paid for enough repairs to get barnabus to Smith level 3.
This would almost be believable except that the brother, HonYuen, could just as easily have increased his own Smith Guild level instead. In my experience brothers aren't quite so generous or selfless at their own expense.
I believe that this is a very thinly disguised attempt to avoid the restrictions imposed on multis by claiming to be a relative.

Barnabus' Transfer Log - https://www.lordswm.com/pl_transfers.php?id=4332384 | Taking a second look at Honyuen's Transfer log it appears that barnabas may have had a Smith guild of 1 before this started.
So I guess HonYuen hasn't "single-handedly" paid for barnabas' Smith Guild, but he has certainly paid for a significant portion of it. |
