AuthorHow to manage money :)
HOnestly I do not know about that ... :) I cannot do that .. hikzz .. very sad .. :(

Teach me how .. I lost around 450K in just about 4 days .. :(

No roulette at all ..

??? I am confused .. :)
you just changed faction at high level, what do you expect :)
Changing faction is costly - that would explain some of your spendings at least.
Money spent on changing factions is no loss at all :)
well, i also spend all my money i win from roulette (not on roulette)

spent 108k in less than an hour O_o
I bought many arts level 10 .. for TG .. But I never thought that Minos soldiers and MG 2 and 3 will burn my gold VERY2 FAST .. ?? :( I am sick .. what to do ?? do I have to stop battle first and just enroll and enroll ?? I lost around 21K at betting too .. :(

for Straws: wrong time to change, should have changed when I have that 450K .. then buy good arts to fight .. :) BUt I did not .. :( regret :(
and now you're stucked without apparitions, should have changed when you just sold your TGI, then only spending the spares on arts
Honestly I do not need any apparitions, ghost is enough, no infected zombies is ok .. But Summon Phantom is a must for this high level of necros .. :)
Buying good arts is not wasting.
Switching to other faction is not wasting, too.
But..
I am not sure you will feel comfortable with Necro.
In my opinion, necro is not good at high level and the most important, a dark elf player will suffer when he switch to necro because necro is very slow.

You are used to play fast units, now you have play slow unit. Believe me, it's painful.
Very true. Switching to wizard after playing as elf was like that :p cept that troops not only almost never moved, they also dealt no dmg when they did.
summon phantom isnt that crucial without high number of skeles
lol @ 10, yeah stick to elves and demons to be the quick killer.
Also, the 3rd tier upgrade is very important to staying competitive!
In the spirit of the topic, tis' my opinion on how to manage money.

The steps I are relatively simplistic in nature, ignoring current asset valuations, such as those of your inventory and use of player loans. But then again, imo, these steps that I've adviced should ensure that your lords have enough money to spend.

Step1:

Do a calculation of your net income, preferably on a weekly basis. For starters, it could be estimating the gold earned per week Minus routine expenses, such as AP costs, clan tax, etc...

Step 2:

Assuming that net income is positive, undertake a calculation of what future assets you want to acquire, and how much they cost in total. For instance, if the costs of switching factions and buying full arts = 500k, whereas your current savings + weekly income is 400,000 + 20,000 = 420,000. Thus in order to fully finance your undertakings w/o loans, you will need an additional 5 weeks of savings.

If your net income is negative, find out what's causing the unnecessary spending, and axe it. Say, you earn 100k/week (whoa!) from enrollment. Your weekly expenses are 40k on min ap arts, 20k on trading, 20k on clan taxes and 60k on roulette. As in this blatant example, we can see whats the source of evil... :)

Step 3:

Ok 5 weeeks later, you got the money, you can get what you want. But b4 you do so, always make sure you have more gold than that. This is to offset unexpected expenses and underestimation of your wishlist items. Most importantly, you need the cash flow to help you generate income, such as purchasing and selling of nickel/steel, or shop arts. If you blatantly disregard the income generation factor and just spend all your gold on your wishlist, expect a drop income, which will ultimately affect your future undertakings.

With all that being said, if you just decide to accomplish your wishlist items on a whim (its a game, not rl!) and find yourself on the loose end of change, turn evil and become ironic, play roulette and pray to god of random. Alternatively, Donate for Diamonds. :)
Well... I think you made several mistakes... Frist, you didn't actually calculate (by switching for a day to necro and find out castle prices) the total cost that switching would take. Second, You tried to buy arts and switch faction at the same time and you are left with neither completely done. Thridly, you sold your TGI. Thiis is almost never a good idea because it stops a good source of income. Renting it out is much better, because you get the renting fee and are left with exactly the same TGI as you started with.

So, now you are left in a rather bad position... but at least the money was used to do something... you didn't lose it all on roulette :P
I change my faction a lot. That's the only reason i dont have money
And i know how hard is to manage that.

There is a time when i just enroll for a week to make some money.

How to manage your money?
at low levels, just use mini ap to battle.
at high levels, don't fight^^
When you have taking labour for one or more weeks without any fight, you will find that you got a lot of money!

don't you know how hurt it is when you lose your TGI? Its risky, and its not almost never a good idea to sell it.
The other mistakes, i agree with you. You shouldn't think you can have everything once you sold your TGI.
for Beinion15:

I am afraid what Happened to ULISS will happen again to me .. :) honestly I do not want my BIGGEST source income lost :)

If Admins could return it back if my tgi stolen, it is fine, but THE FACT not .. :)

No offense sorry .. :)
Yes, I see... there is a bit of risk with renting TGI out...
