Author | Phishers and Scammers. Pay ATTENTION. |
There are still a few "players" out there trying to play you all for a fool. Don't get tricked and be sure to pay attention to all incoming transactions. If you are sent an item make sure you see what the price of the transaction is before accepting.
Also, all links sent to you unprovoked and unsolicited in your Private Mail should be assumed to be an attempt to obtain your password or scam you.
One person we are currently aware of is -PEAL-. If you receive any mail or transfers from the ignore and decline them. Keep in mind that it may not actually be the person who created -PEAL-; rather someone who has gotten his password. |
It's getting preety dangerous will all these phishers and scammers around >.> <.< |
There actually aren't that many of them recently. It's mostly just a few people who think they can bank off of scamming players with cheap tricks. |
Sorry what kind of transfers .. u meant ? A transfer with very high price ?? |
to 4: yes, the incoming transfer is an item with a price of almost all of your gold. so if u didn't notice it and accepted, you would have paid everything you have for a silly item e.g. hunter broadsword
just be careful when accepting transfers, especially if u are a smith or enchanter, sometimes the lower levels/eager ones just accept blindly |
