Author | Pass on a Hunt - is there a penalty? |
Also does it reduce the hunt size for next time in a similar was as it increases it if you win?
Most of my hunts are red and by asking for assistance i basically double my costs - this is not substainable anymore. |
No penalty, and no decrease of monster numbers. |
No penalty there, only pass by it. |
asking for assistance i basically double my costs
Because you pay the person who helped you? Well you don't need to do that.
In fact you can even earn more by asking for assistance, because you beat the monsters more times than you normally would have been able to. And each time you beat them, you get gold/resource, as well as a chance for an artifact. |
How does asking for assistance double your costs? It costs nothing to ask for assistance...
And, yes. No penalty besides making you wait about 20-30 minutes for the next hunt |
Asking for assistance doubles my costs because i get half the experience but still my arts get the full damage.
I guess it not a straightforward doubling in costs but its less efficient with regards to gaining experience and repair costs.
Am i missing something? |
Let's consider asking for assistance twice to be equivalent to 1 solo hunt, in terms of exp and skill.
2 assisted hunts -> Double loot, double cost of arts
1 solo hunt -> Single loot, single cost of arts
Profit = Loot - Cost of arts
So as long as loot from hunt > cost per battle, you stand to earn. |
are you actually trying to say that at some point ( at some HG lvl ) , you get items from every hunt ??? |

Yes you do get items from every hunt if your HG level is 97... but I'm wondering, which of the above messages led you into asking that question? Since, from what I see and understand, we were talking about penalty for passing hunts, and the viability of asking for assistance. |
