i have already researched this quite a lot
please please please do not refer me to the thief FAQ
i would like to know these things. i am starting as a level 8 elf when i get there. how much gold will i need assuming i havent already built castle constructions. how much time will i need to do it. how much experience will i get between TG 0 and TG2. also do i need full arts?? and if o which ones?? |
also will it be hard or easy or in between difficulty @ level 8??? thanks for answering guys |
Hmmm such a lot of questions regarding thieving.
As a level 8 elf you should be able to get to TG2 fairly quickly but you will need good arts, more so once you have reached TG1. The ambushes dont get any worse until you reach TG1, but you should always realise that you may ambush a fellow hero travelling with full arts.
I dont know what the cost of castle constructions you need for level 8 elf as I havent been one for a long time, but you can check which constructs you need for level 8. I see you are currently level 6.
I would recommend that you have a full arts set plus around 75,000 in gold for repairs of arts in order to reach TG2. You should have a set of the best that are suitable for your level and your game style. Dont forget that talents play an important part as well and you will get more talent points by then as well.
You would be able to get to TG2 if you start as level 7 Elf but starting at level 8 will be easier.
Don't forget that you will have to have the gold saved up in order to rent the TGI as well in the first place.
Hope this helps |
yeah it certainly did help it is good clear advice. what do u think are the best thieving talents for an elf?? and what playing style should i use?? |
I think it will be easy. If you want to make it quick with full arts 100 000-150 000(if you want to use some rings).
How much time: About 100 playing hours I think. Depends on your luck and arts.
How much experience: About 50-75% of level 8. Dont know the numbers
Caravans are not harder when you reach TG1, they are are just harder and harder. |
Well regarding being an Elf, sorry I started as Necro when I began thieving and quickly changed to DE and enjoyed it so much have stayed there.
I suggest you find an Elf Thief, have a look at any of the top players who are elves and am sure they have all been thieves. Have a look at their combat logs, and look for combats against caravans, you may have to go back quite a way to see them for when they were TG0, TG1 as they are probably at least TG4 by now.
Have a look at their play style and u can see their stats but not their talents, try and find a level 8 elf who is thieving and have a look when they get a caravan and can see what talents they are then using. |
