AuthorAmout of predators in hunts
I wanted to know if i kill 1000 hobs - alone so the next time will come more right? But what happen if I kill with someones help will they come next time the same 1000 or also more?
So if I see there is 1000 hobs (red) and i`m pass them, next time will be again 1000 or less? What happen if I lvl up the count stars all over again (depending on lvl) or you keep your previous achievements?

Is it similar to MG? When you kill some vanguards or so next time will come +1 stronger... no way to reduce a amount...
No matter what level you are, if you solo a hunt the next encounter with that creature will be about 30% more. If you ask for assistance the next one will be 10% more. If you lose the number stays the same in both cases.
The amount of growth in case of victory: N=n*1.69^f
n = original amount in hunt
N = new amount net time
f = factions skill points that the main hunter gained during the hunt

So!
In the case of the 1k hobgoblins, the growth would be 300 hobgoblins if you win alone.

If you pass, the would come back some time in the future as the same amount.

Since the last update conserning hunts, I'm unsure if this is true, and I'm to lazy to look it up right now, but: Hunts can also come in smaller amounts like 1/2 the amount, or 1/3rd the amount.

Thank you for explanation, but what if i change race to another (the amount of hunting creatures will stay)?
Yes, they'll stay.
If you change your race, you will keep your actual hunting level, so the amount of creatures to hunt won't change.
So if you have alot of patience, the smart thing to do would be hunt assist for all your hunts. Assuming you do have the work and earn .25 faction points eachtime for a 30% growth in monsters you would gain .75 faction points as opposed to the 1 single faction point if you solo it. Ofcourse after lvl 5 this would cost more money but not a significant amount to pose a real problem especially if you are enrolling at the labours guild. Also you get to keep all the money from the hunts so it increases the total amount of gold you recieve per 30% monster growth as well. With that being said I'm not patient enough to do it, however, seems like a great strategy for a player who wants the most powerful character possible.

you are wrong.
if you solo, you get 1 HG and 0,5 FSP

if you ask for assistance (and kill equal), you get
0,5 FSP
0,25 FSP

and 2*asking for assistance is the same as 1 hunt alone
amount of monsters if you ask for assistance 100=>114=>130
and if you solo 100=>130

so except the gold rewards and artifact cost, asking for assistance and solo'ing them is EXACTLY the same amount of rewards
well to keep creatures low...

wouldn't be then a good (theoretical) strategy to lose all hunts for the most powerful character possible?
(in theory only!) if you lose a hunt you gain some xp and skill points but creatures don't grow. so you would stay at the same creature level slowly gaining skillpoints and xp (veeeeeeeeery slowly).

am i missing something?

No that`s right, you get exp and skill points, so this was the reason why they changed faction skill reward for lost battles....

But what about merging hunts? Someone told that if your hunt has been merged with other player then creatures count wont increase - is it true?

#3 Since the last updated halves and thirds are gone forever. Instead this you have double hunts that won't increase the size of the monster the next time you see them.
I really wish the hunt would be easier each time you lose ;)

So if you have a weak faction, it is in your interest to pretty much ask for help each time, so you don't get overwhelmed the handful of times that people don't come to your aid.

At least that is what I do, unless the hunt is jokingly easy.
What about the stack count in hunts? How can i know how many would be?
I had hunt (605 mercenary archers)so i check high sores (barbars 9 lvl) had 605 2 stack so i decided to go alone - it ended with lost (4 stacks ) so they ranged my shews....

I would like to know how many they will be (it is important to know the right tactics... ) and if i will be able to kill them,,.,..
the amount of stacks its random, but the minimum is 2
that's bad... random stack count...
Actually they could say like you smell 999 zombies in xx stacks guarding xx gold.
every time I meet monster with pack attack skill.they always 3 or 4 stack
do we have chance to meet them in 2 stack?
Yes. The can be met as only 2 stacks...

Anyway, this seems to be a case of QATC!
