Please forgive me if this is not where this goes. I'm not sure if it's something that can normally (and randomly) happen, or if it's a problem.
So I went to go on a hunt. I clicked attack for the griffins. And at the bottom of the white box, it said "Griffins take to their heels." And I've seen that before, so I wasn't worried about that. After that, I went to check something else while I was waiting on the hunt to begin, so I don't know if I missed a message or what.
But when the combat came up, it had me, the griffins, another player (who was actually a level above me), and some spawns. I've never seen hunts merge like that, so I'm really confused as to what happened there. But then during the hunt, the other person put his gargoyles on my deceased ghosts. I don't know if it was just a bad move or if he was purposely doing it so he could get the XP. I hardly got a chance to do anything because zombies' initiative sucks and I couldn't raise my ghosts because his gargoyles were on them. Because of this merging of hunts (and especially across levels), I feel cheated out of the experience and skill points I would have received had I fought the griffins alone. If this is a problem that needs addressed, is there any way I can get the rest of my experience and skill points that I would've gotten had I fought the griffins alone?

last part | | Thank you. I joined well after that and haven't spent enough time reading the forum to even know that announcement existed. I still feel robbed of experience. It's not right that he can put his gargoyles on my ghosts to keep me from getting attacks in so that he can get almost all the experience points. I guess it's sort of okay though because I get double the normal hunter's guild points, and by keeping my XP down, it allows my skill level to try to catch up with the combat level. | | closed by mizzk (2009-02-14 09:35:07) |
