When you get kicked out of a battle because it waited on you too long, how long do you have the -2 luck penalty for?
I'm asking because the combat loader died on me and forced me out of the game. What a POS. |

This has happened to me on many occasions, connection problems or server issues causes me to timeout giving me -2 luck for an hour.
It is really frustrating when you are doing everything you can so this doesn't happen.
I always try to refresh browser, re-establish a connection to the server. This often help when I get that blue message in upper left corner of screen...unable to establish a connection to the server.
If that doesn't help or it doesnt reload I try shutting down my web browser and reopening it. That will sometimes help.
Unfortunately if you lost connection to the server or server is having issues there is nothing you can really do but wait it out, often this will result in the -2 luck penalty when you do get back.
It would be nice if there was some way to determine when people had legitimate connection problems and when they just go afk because the are losing or don't want to fight a poor match up. The reason for -2 luck is to lower the number of people that quit battles (afk) for whatever reason. It isn't a great way to prevent this but I think it does stop some from going afk. |
| @above: people could just disconnect with the server if they want quit the battle, and they won't get the -2 luck. So your method won't work. |
I suggest to all afk players at group battles to AUTOMATICALLY get 500 gold penalties and the gold will be sent to their teammates .. Luck -2 penalty is not enough I think .. this is for A FAIR GAME ..

| Such times of lag are rare, but they do last for more than an hour. Even though you have the -2 luck penalty it's probably best to do something else for a little while and come back just to wait for the lag to clear up. |

I just got disconnected cos of server. I got -2 luck penalty.
I hate afk players, it's the first that happened to me.
So a 500 gold penalty is too much if it's not your fault. After 5 times or so that you've been afk a tougher penalty could be appropriate.
Don't put everyone in the same category. Not everyone does it on purpose.
