Mithril Bracer:
"Even a small quantity of mithril can do some good"
+2 defense, +5% magic resistance.
Level 6 minimum, 10K or so.
What do people think? | | I don't think it will be used. Much more expensive that def. shield and worse than dragon shield. And if bracer=occupies ring slot - even less chance that it will be used. | This would be a shield slot, not a ring slot.
I think 5% magic resistance is much better than +1 defense.
Not as good, however as 2 points of defense and one of attack.
Defender Shield is 3300 for 40 uses. (82.5 per without sellback)
Mithril Bracer would be 10,000 for 50 uses (200 per without sellback)
Dragon Shield is 26,000 for 70 uses (371 per without sellback)
The Mithril Bracer would be designed to fill the hole between Defender and Dragon, with a cost about halfway between the two, and an ability about the same IMO. But it has magic resistance so against some opponents it would be superior to the Dragon Shield, such as if you knew you were going against a bunch of Loremasters. | | For 10k gold, make it +2 defense, 2% init, and the 5% magic resist. Then we'll talk. +3 defense would make it a done deal. |
